NYC Housing Authority Mail Log Project
This Visual BasicÂ application is used by various departments within NYCHAÂ to log,Â track, maintain and respond to emails received by the agency from NYC Housing and Section 8 tenants. Our accomplishments included the following major enhancements of the application:
- FullÂ life-cycle development of the modifications which included requirements analysis and the creation of design documents.
- An extensive user interface wasÂ designed/created.
- Implementation allowed emails to be dragged and dropped from outlook intoÂ the Mail Log application
- All emails are converted to PDF format and stored on a file server and all information regarding each call is stored in MS SqlServer.
- Users were trained on the usage of the application and a detailed User manual was created.
